If something is annoying or boring to play, then I don't want to play it: simple as that. I always like to consider good gameplay to just be something fun, and I consider creativity to be extra credit. This is also why I think a lot of a people hate Meowterdash so much: it has a really good concept of having gameplay revolving around custom orbs, but the execution ended up being really frustrating and annoying. Sure, it's cool that KrmaL can make creative gameplay like Lit Fuse, but dear god it's such a boring level. Personally, I don't really tend to enjoy gameplay that is solely defined as "creative". Here's some gameplay that I made, one I tried to make unique, the other I tried to make fun. That's my opinion, I know some people would say his levels are fun, however the majority of people I've talked to don't find his gameplay fun. KrmaL's gameplay tends to sacrifice the fun value for the uniqueness. Falling Up has probably the worst of it, just ask KneeVan. Rearmed isn't that fun, the wave at the end is more annoying than anything. Black Blizzard has incredibly stressful gameplay from what I've played, and it's a gigantic hassle to learn the parts of it. I've played a lot of it and enjoyed none of it except for the wave spam. Heartbeat is a terrible level for fun value. He tries a lot of bizarre things with his gameplay and sometimes it does work, like with the first half of the lit fuse drop, but as with the second half of the lit fuse drop, it often fails to hold up as fun I find. As for KrmaL's gameplay, I would certainly call it well synced and certainly unique, but good? Probably not.
